David Abramowitz, MD

David Abramowitz, M.D., attended Medical School at Sackler School of Medicine and performed his Residency in Urology at the University at Buffalo. Following his residency, Dr. Abramowitz completed a prestigious fellowship in Cancer Survivorship and Reconstructive Urology at City of Hope National Cancer Center in Los Angeles. He is a member of the American Urologic Association (AUA), Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons (GURS) and Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA). He will be practicing general urology with a focus on reconstructive and prosthetic urology.

Philip J. Aliotta, MD

Philip J. Aliotta, M.D., MSHA, FACS, CPI earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he also completed his residency training in urology. Dr. Aliotta is board-certified and holds clinical certifications in hand assisted laparoscopy, laparoscopy, brachytherapy, microsurgery, and laser surgery.

John Joseph Bodkin III, MA, MD

John Joseph Bodkin III, MA, MD, earned his BS in physiology and neurobiology from the University of Connecticut and both his M.A. in physiology and M.D. from the University at Buffalo. Upon completion of his medical degree, Dr. Bodkin completed his general surgery internship and Urology residency in Buffalo, NY. In addition to being published in respected peer-reviewed journals, Dr. Bodkin has been the recipient of numerous academic honors and awards. Dr. Bodkin is a member of the American Urologic Association, the American Medical Association, and the Underwater and Hyperbaric Medical Society.

Mark D. Chazen, MD

Mark D. Chazen, MD is a graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He completed his urology residency and a general surgery internship at the State University of New York at Buffalo where he utilizes his board-certified urology training as an assistant clinical instructor in urology and surgery for the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Kent Chevli, MD

Kent Chevli, MD comes to Western New York after completing urologic training at the University of Louisville. He is a graduate of Washington University, and St. Louis University School of Medicine. His board-certified training includes female urology and laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Chevli is a Professor and the Chairman of the Department of Urology, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biological Sciences at the University at Buffalo. His special interest lies in management of urologic cancers, including prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer.

Teresa L. Danforth, MD

Teresa L. Danforth, MD is a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Medicine where she also completed her Internship and Residency in Urology. Dr. Danforth then completed a fellowship at the University of Southern California focusing on incontinence and voiding disfunction. Dr. Danforth is also the Program Director of the Urology Residency program at the University at Buffalo and Chief of Service for Urology at Buffalo General Medical Center. She is a member of many clinical societies including the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Urologic Association (AUA).

Abeer Eddib, MD

Abeer Eddib, MD a board-certified physician, completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Buffalo. Her focus is Urogynecology and she is also certified in daVinci robotics. Dr. Eddib’s experience gives her the expertise to manage complex types of Pelvic surgery that include the treatment of all forms of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, and endometriosis. In addition to pelvic organ prolapse surgery, other procedures she performs using a minimally invasive approach include hysterectomy, myomectomy, removal of tubes, ovaries, and ovarian cysts. Dr. Eddib is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, International Academy of Pelvic Surgeons, and the American Urogynecologic Society.

Richard N. Gilbert, MD

Richard N. Gilbert, MD, a board-certified physician, is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo Medical School where he is now a Clinical Assistant Professor in Urology. He completed his urologic training at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Gilbert has specialty training in sexual dysfunction, prostate cancer, female urology, and laparoscopic surgery. He is also certified in daVinci robotics.

Jacquelyn M Gonka-Griffo, MD

Jacquelyn M Gonka-Griffo, MD, is a graduate of the Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed her Internship and Residency in Urology at the Jacob School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Gonka-Griffo then completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Metro Urology in Minnesota. She specializes in pelvic organ prolapse, voiding dysfunction, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic pain, and female sexual dysfunction. She is a member of many clinical societies including the American Urologic Association (AUA).

Joseph M. Greco, MD

Joseph M. Greco, M.D., a board-certified physician, joined the practice in 1979, after completing his urologic training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Greco’s training at Johns Hopkins included a one-year fellowship in conjunction with the American Cancer Society on the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer.

John V. Pinski, MD

John V. Pinski, MD a board-certified physician, earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland. He completed his residency in urology at the State University of New York at Buffalo and general surgery at the Easton Hospital, Easton, PA. Dr. Pinski’s is also an appointed associate clinical instructor at the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Brian D. Rambarran, MD, MPH

Brian D. Rambarran, MD, MPH received his medical degree from the State University of New York’s Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his General Surgery Internship and Urology Residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo where he was also named administrative chief resident. Dr. Rambarran’s special interests include radiotherapy and the treatment of prostate cancer.

John M. Roehmholdt, MD

John M. Roehmholdt, MD is a board-certified physician who received his degree from Albany Medical College of Union University where he graduated cum laude. He completed his urologic training at the University of Wisconsin Hospital. Dr. Roehmholdt is a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons as well as the American Medical Association, American Urologic Association and the Medical Society of New York State.

John M. Rutkowski, MD

John M. Rutkowski, MD received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He remained at the University to complete his General Surgery Internship and Urology Residency and then completed his clinical fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida. Dr. Rutkowski’s multidisciplinary urologic and oncologic training has given him unparalleled exposure to the latest methods of diagnosing and treating urologic disease. Dr. Rutkowski is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in Urology at the University at Buffalo.

Christopher J. Skomra, MD

Christopher J. Skomra, MD is a medical honors graduate of the University of Buffalo. Dr. Skomra is board-certified and completed his urologic training at George Washington University, which included specialization in cancer surgery, laparoscopic surgery and pediatric and female urology. He is also certified in daVinci robotics. Dr. Skomra is also Clinical Assistant Professor in Urology at the University at Buffalo.

Gina N. Tundo, MD

Gina N. Tundo, MD, is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She completed her internship and residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Tundo then completed a fellowship in reconstructive urology at Emory University.

Matthew S. Brennan, DO

Matthew S. Brennan, DO, a board certified urologist, completed his fellowship training at Nova Southeastern University focused on Prosthetic Urology and Men’s Health. Prior to that, Dr. Brennan completed his undergraduate degree at the University at Buffalo, his medical school at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and his Urology Residency with the Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia. Dr. Brennan has authored numerous publications on Prosthetic Urology and is a member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America and Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons.

Mark J. Doerr, MD

Mark J. Doerr, MD has a B.S. in Biology from Canisius College in 1998 and an M.S. degree in Natural Sciences from SUNY - Buffalo/Roswell Park Cancer Institute in 2000. During his urology residency at the Mayo, Dr. Doerr was recognized for his leadership abilities by being made Chief Urology Resident during his final year. Dr. Doerr is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA), the Minnesota Urological Society and has received numerous academic awards and honors.

Anthony R. Ricottone, MD

Anthony R. Ricottone, MD is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo Medical School. His urologic residency through SUNY Buffalo included training at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Children's Hospital. Dr. Ricottone is board-certified and his specialty areas include female and pediatric urology. He is also certified in daVinci robotics.

Phillip J. Seereiter, Jr., MD

Phillip J. Seereiter, Jr., MD is a native of Buffalo and attended Boston College. He went on to obtain his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, where he then completed his general surgical and urologic residency. His program included training at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. His areas of interest include laparoscopic and robotic surgery.

Matthew Sheldon, MD

Matthew Sheldon, MD, is a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Medicine who then went on to complete his internship in general surgery and residency in urology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He practices all aspects of urology and has special interest in urologic cancers and robotic urological surgery. Dr. Sheldon is a member of many clinical societies including the American Urological Association (AUA) and the American Association of Clinical Urologists.
